Counsel

Prior to joining Student Defense, Robyn served as a law clerk to United States District Court Judge James C. Cacheris. Previously, Robyn worked as a Skadden Fellow on the Early Childhood Education Project at Advocates for Children of New York. Her fellowship project focused on providing direct legal representation to the families of preschoolers living in temporary housing, helping to resolve their education-related issues. Robyn advised families on eligibility and enrollment for public pre-k programs, special education evaluations and services, busing, school suspensions and expulsions, and transitioning to the school-aged system. She also assisted in drafting policy guidance for serving preschoolers living in temporary housing at both the district and state levels.

Robyn received her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was the Notes Development Editor of the Virginia Law Review. Prior to law school, Robyn taught kindergarten and first grade at South Bronx Classical Charter School. Robyn received her M.S.Ed. from Bank Street College of Education. She received her B.A. from the University of Colorado, summa cum laude with distinction. Robyn is admitted to practice law in New York and Washington, D.C.
