Emily Santora
Paralegal
Prior to joining Student Defense, Emily did paralegal work for two law firms. At Hogan Lovells in Washington, DC., she worked with the Litigation, Arbitration and Employment Practice Group for two years and was part of a team in a significant multidistrict litigation case. She then worked in several practice areas at K&L Gates in Seattle for three years, including domestic violence and immigration pro bono cases.
Emily received her B.A. in Economics from Tufts University in 2016. During her senior year, she served as an intern in the Tufts Office of University Counsel. She worked on a wide variety of legal and policy issues with the General Counsel and three other attorneys, researching legal matters, gathering policy resources from other institutions, and communicating with others on campus involved with the development of policies.
